UNI-COUNSELING – Student Mental Health Counseling Hourly Rates

All listed rates are net amounts in Hungarian forints (HUF), per hour, excluding VAT.

On-site university student counselling (UNI-COUNSELING) is billed on an hourly basis. The hourly fees include counselling work, travel to the institution for on-site services or availability for online sessions, and associated administrative duties, such as reports, recommendations, progress records and referrals. We can provide a dedicated mental health counsellor weekly, fortnightly or once a month, at times of day suited to the institution’s needs.

Scope and boundaries of student mental health counselling

We respectfully draw prospective clients’ attention to the fact that our service is not psychological counselling provided as a specialist healthcare service. Accordingly, our work does not include the treatment of severe conditions (described in the original Hungarian text as affecting approximately 1–6% of the population) that require clinical psychological specialist care or medication, nor do we conduct therapy sessions falling within psychiatric or clinical psychological treatment.

Our mental health counselling and coaching service includes preliminary screening informed by the DSM diagnostic manual and relevant international ethical standards. If a person presents with symptoms that may require specialist care, we explain what type of service may be appropriate, where such care may be available, and refer them to a potential provider. We do not offer legally regulated curative patient–therapist treatment. Our purpose is to support participants’ constructive personal development, skills and learning.

2 hours per week: individual or group mental health counselling.
1 hour per week: prevention, workshop, screening, classroom visit or faculty support.

2 hours per week · approximately 8 hours per month

1 hour per week: open office hours.
1 hour per week: psychological workshop, individual coaching or individual/group counselling as required.

This is not a healthcare service and does not provide psychiatric or clinical psychological treatment. Where necessary, students are referred to appropriate specialist services.
