American Counseling Association European Branch Conference in Budapest

September 30 - October 1, 2017. For the very first time, it was our honor behalf of Human-Service Mental Health Counseling Center to co-sponsor and co-host the annual conference of the European Branch of American Counseling Association in Budapest. The conference took place between September 30th - October 1st. 2017 in the superb location at the Budapest Campus of McDaniel College (1071 Budapest Bethlen Gabor tér 2.) This unique occasion offered the opportunity to network with professionals with diverse backgrounds as well as to choose from 60 different sessions. Brainspotting (BSP) workshop 2023

We are making efforts in these days to bring a powerful therapeutic method to Hungary called brainspotting, developed by David Grand Ph.D. an American psychotherapist, writer, lecturer, performance coach and humanitarian.

Brainspotting (BSP) is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms. Brainspotting is a simultaneous form of diagnosis and treatment, enhanced with Biolateral sound, which is deep, direct, and powerful yet focused and containing. Training may be held in 2025 spring. Currently, we are working out the details with Dr. Grand's European team, who would conduct the training in English in Budapest. Location and the final cost of training (~450.000 - 660.000 HUF) will be set later.
